CEO: Angie Mock
Angie Mock is CEO of the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio. She accepted the position of CEO in the spring of 2011. As CEO she oversees operations and youth outcomes for five branches and 42 onsite locations for about 7,400 youth age 6 – 18 years old. Under her leadership, Average Daily Attendance of members has increased by 12% and Unduplicated Participants served has increased by 32%. In addition, the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Antonio opened 7 new sites in the past year and increased funding sources from $3.2 million to $5.2 million. Most recently, Angie was named "Rookie of the Year" by Boys & Girls Clubs of America Southwest Region for demonstrating excellence in leadership as shown by increases in various metrics including attendance, revenue and programs.
Angie’s career covers a wide variety of disciplines including marketing, operations, finance, and human resources. Until 2002, Angie was owner and CEO of Flagstone Hospitality Management, a Memphis-based hotel management company. Under Angie’s direction and ownership, Flagstone managed 55 hotels in 29 states with annual revenues of $158 million and over 3,000 employees. She sold the company in 2002 to take a short sabbatical to be home with her young children. Angie began a consulting practice in 2005, consulting with a wide variety of non-profit and for-profit entities.
